This is documentation for upcoming NPC Adventures version 1.0. If you are looking for current version docs, go to main NPC Adventures website.
Install
- Install the latest version of SMAPI.
- Download and install Content Patcher
- Download and install Quest Framework
- Download this mod and unzip it into Stardew Valley/Mods.
- Run the game using SMAPI.
Compatibility
- Works with Stardew Valley 1.5.6 on Linux/Mac/Windows.
- Works in single player ONLY.
- Android SDV is not supported
Upgrading from 0.x to 1.0
Players
Remove old NPC Adventures mod folder NpcAdventure and unpack the new.
This is really important to do. Don't replace files, remove the old and place the new.
If you have any incompatible content packs for NPC Adventures, remove them too and you can check if they have an update which is compatible with NPC Adventures 1.0.
If you want to migrate old config.json from pre-1.0 versions, you need to remove the line with RequestsWithShift. If you had enabled this option and do you want to preserve the old behavior, set value of this option to "Required".
Modders
There are some changes in mod's code. You must do some edits in your content pack for make it compatible with new version. Follow Modder's upgrade guide.
